ASSESSING THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN LEADERSHIP STYLES AND ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOR IN PAKISTAN’S EDUCATION SECTOR
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study examines the impact of transformational, transactional, and laissez-faire leadership styles on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) among employees in Pakistan’s education sector. Anchored in the Full Range Leadership Theory, the research proposes three hypotheses to assess the positive and significant effects of each leadership style on OCB. A thorough review of the literature highlights both theoretical foundations and empirical evidence on the relationship between leadership styles and OCB. By focusing on the Pakistani educational context, this study addresses a notable gap in existing research. The findings are expected to offer valuable insights for educational institutions seeking to enhance employee engagement and overall organizational performance through effective leadership practices.
